Oswald Chambers - My Utmost for His Hightest

Arguably one of the most, if not the most, widely read Christian devotional of the 20th century. Let yourself be encouraged and challenged by one of God's faithful servants to give Your Utmost for His Hightest. This online version can be searched by topics using the keyword cloud at the bottom right under Popular Topics.

Ray C. Stedman - The Power of His Presence

This book/online library of daily readings seeks is a compilation of excerpts from Ray Stedman's sermons and will be an ideal companion for those who often find it hard to read through the Bible chapter by chapter alone. It differs from most other daily devotionals in that it is true to Stedman's commitment to book-by-book exposition. Each month a different book, or major portion of a book, is explored from beginning to end in bite-sized pieces, alternating from month to month between New and Old Testament books. Each selection is designed to be accompanied with an open Bible, as it includes a portion of Scripture to be read along with an excerpt from one of Stedman's sermons on the same passage. Additionally, at the beginning of each selection is a printed verse from the passage that serves as the focal point of Stedman's comments. A prayer at the end of each selection helps readers apply the lessons they have learned from that passage to their lives.

Devotional Sermons by George H. Morrison

George Herbert Morrison (1866-1928) has been characterized as one of the century's great "pastor-preachers," always seeking to meet life's need with a word from God.
Morrison's preaching reflected his deep concern for the individual person through simplicity of language, certainty of word choice, confident assertion of Scripture, and careful poetic phrasing.
This same high regard for his audience appeared in his loving presentation of the truth no matter how controversial the issue, in the absence of contempt for others in his sermons, in his attempts to lead his listeners from their own interests to a broader perception of Christian concern.
